Pizza Hut Middle East is upping the ante with crust made out of cheeseburgers and chicken strips. The new offering is called Pizza Hut’s Crown Crust Pizza and goes way beyond the typical cheeseburger pizza construction by nestling mini burger patties into a modified “crown” crust. The rest of the pizza is topped with burgery ingredients of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, special sauce, cheese, and beef nubs.
Ditto goes for the chicken strips — there is chicken both on the crust, and as a topping.
Pizza Hut Middle East is no stranger to novelty crust. In 2010, the company launched a similar “crown crust” pizza with meatballs and cream cheese.
