Newly anointed ‘divabetic’, Paula Deen is planning to launch a branded line of prepared foods that will hit supermarket shelves sometime in 2013.
The celebrity chef is teaming with Nanco Group to form Paula Deen Foods.
A spokesman for the company tells the Buffalo News they aren’t ready to disclose what exactly they’ll be selling under Deen’s brand, but does say there will be a mixture of perishable and non-perishable items and tht they will cover Deen’s traditional recipes but also include some lighter variations.
“This isn’t Paula just signing off on something,” said Steven Nanula, president of Paula Deen Foods. “This is Paula really getting into it and rolling up her sleeves along with her team.
