This year’s Fourth of July celebration will feature a Sangria Throwdown on the boardwalk at Asbury Park, NJ. The healthcare host, Mr. Divabetic will be competing in both the white and red sangria competitions.
Mr. Divabetic’s diva inspiration for his White Sangria recipe is Bianca Jagger. Bianca Jagger is known for being both the first wife of Mick Jagger and one of the most impeccably stylish women in the world. Bianca’s exotic beauty caught Mick’s eye at a party in France in 1970 and they married a year later in St Tropez.
Bianca Jagger’s beauty is a inspiring this cooler-than-cool sangria recipe dripping with ’70s glamour.
Here’s how you can make cheap wine taste ‘chic using these ingredients:
1 1/2 liters bottle of Casa del Toro Savignon Blanc
1 bottle of Jaume Serra Cristalino (brut)
1/2 cup of Motezuma of Triple Sec
1/2 cup of Blansac French Brandy
2 cups of Low Calorie Apple White Grape Juice Drink
Mix ingredients. Add ice. Chill glasses and garnish with sliced apricots and golden delicious apples. (I like to pre-soak my fruit for 2 hours in brandy prior to mixing.) Top off each glass with a pineapple ring for added pizazz.
Raise a glass of this Studio 54 Sangria at your 4th of July celebration while decked out in glittering sequins and an exquisitely tailored white YSL trouser suits like Bianca herself. Enjoy!
The happy healthcare host, Mr. Divabetic stops by the Big Apple Barbecue Block Party to learn healthy ways to enjoy the barbecue from everyday people.
