New Candy Corn Oreos Hitting Stores for Halloween

The internet is abuzz today with a photo of Candy Corn Oreos making the rounds. Oreo says it’s introducing its famous wafer cookie in a candy corn flavor ahead of the Halloween season. How scary is that? The cookies will be available exclusively at Target Corp. stores and retail for $3.59 for a package.

The cookie is a limited edition (Halloween season, clearly) and several blogs are racing to try them (stay tuned, we’ve got people ON IT as well). The cream center is half orange and half yellow just like the traditional Halloween treat. There’s a strange amount of excitement going on about these, but we wonder if it is sheer amazement or sheer horror.

Don’t fall down to your health goals during the holiday season. Let the cooler temperatures of fall and winter inspire you to turn the oven on to add a cozy warmth to the kitchen.

Roasted vegetables acquire a nice subtle, sweet flavor that enhances the vegetables without adding a lot of fat or calories. You can simply toss a vegetable with oil and roast it.

Katy Perry Sparkles on the Red Carpet At VMA’s

Divabetic’s Diva Inspiration for July, Katy Perry wowed the red carpet in sheer Elie Saab gown. Unlike the usual crazy outfits we’ve come to expect from her at the event, Katy was fashion-focused in a undertated and stunning. The Wide Awake singer donned a sheer printed gown by Elie Saab, which she matched with Jimmy Choo shoes and a ring by Sethi.

The sweeping dress featured a sheer skirt, floral embellishments and a black leather bodice, helping to give a definite nod to next season’s gothic-glamour trend.

Allowing the teal and fuchsia accents to really pop, Katy’s make-up was minimal, while her dark, tumbling locks were wavy and swept to one side.

Katy was nominated for four VMAs: Video of the Year (Wide Awake), Best Visual Effects in a Video (Wide Awake), Best Art Direction in a Video (Wide Awake) and Best Female Video (Part of Me).

She had the honor of handing off the best pop video honor to Niall Horan of One Direction and showed her ‘teenage dream’ affection on stage with a kiss!  She puckered up after presenting them with the best pop video award for What Makes You Beautiful. Then,she gave the five lads an eyeful as she bent over in her low-cut black dress, revealing plenty of cleavage.

She’s  a fan of the British boy band, since she tweeted earlier today, “If One Direction doesn’t perform on the VMAs, I am gonna jump of this ledge.”

The star took to Twitter again after winning the prize for Best Art Direction.

She wrote: ‘Best art direction moon man is so hipster cool! YAY! #everyoneinsilverlakewildnout #peopleinsilverlakewouldntsaywildnout’.

The VMAs will have undoubtedly brought back painful memories for Katy, who began dating ex-husband Russell Brand shortly after a run-in at the VMAs in 2009.

The pair were married in October, 2010, but finalised their divorce just earlier this year.

Taylor Swift’s Stunning 70′s Look at Mtv Video Awards

Divabetic’s Diva Inspiration for September,  Taylor Swift also wowed in white at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) last night.  We think she seemed to be channeling Bianca Jagger circa Studio 54 on the red carpet  in a white pantsuit from J. Mendel. Not everyone agreed. Some fashion critics said the singer looked she was headed straight from work to a PTA meeting (rather than a music awards show) as she stepped onto the red carpet wearing Goldie Hawn’s white suit from First Wives Club.

Later the blonde beauty  performed her latest hit ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together ‘during the show – opted for a tailored white trouser suit to walk the red carpet. The singer kept things simple, wearing her hair loose and teaming the chic look with metallic gold sandals.

Superstar Rihanna was a vision in white at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) last night.

The stunning songstress appeared on the red carpet rocking her new short, sweet, jet-black pixie cut hairstyle, while wearing a flowing white floor-length gown.

The sleek white backless dress boasted a knot detail at the waist which flattered Rihanna’s famously svelte figure.

The raven-haired beauty teamed the elegant look with nude strappy sandals and kept the outfit free from any accessories, making sure all eyes were on her new look.

Rihanna added a touch of her signature vamp with a slick of red lipstick to complete her otherwise ethereal look.

Do You Have Arthritis?
