Divabetic SummerThe happy healthcare host, Mr Divabetic rolls out the roving red tomato carpet at Harlem’s Heaven Spring 2013 Collection Fashion Show in New York. See hat desginer, Evetta Petty‘s sensational hat designs sweeping across the NY Fashion Week runway. Evetta who attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City was inspired by the exhuberance of the Poppy Flower for this unique collection. Her designs are ‘FIERCE!’

“The creative and artistic side of the business is definitely my strength, ” says Evetta Petty.

Harlem’s Heaven designs have been featured in a variety of newspapers and magazines including the New York Times, Crain’s NY, and the New York Daily News and on Television including Europe’s “Shop the World” fashion show with David Emanuel.

“We have a very wide range of styles from a classic fedora to a high fashion feather crown Runway style.  I sell hats for everyone, for sun protection, for horse race enthusiasts, for church attire, and for when you just want to make a fashion statement,” adds Evetta.

“A man should own at least one casual straw hat and one dress hat for a polished professional look,” she insists. “A current reference for men’s hats is the movie “The Adjustment Bureau.”  A woman should own at least 3 basic styles. A classic fedora for everyday, a wide brim sun hat, and a fascinator or small cocktail hat for dressy occasions.”
