The Best Dressed At The Emmy Awards

by

Divabetic Fall“Overall, I saw a very modern approach. It felt very chic…Everything was very beautiful and very elegant, ” said stylist Emmy Award-winning stylist David Zyla would summing up 2012 Emmy Awards fashion.

We agree! We were in love with many of the fashions at  last night Emmy Awards.

Celebrities also displayed some of the season’s hottest trends: From bold colors and blues to asymmetrical styles. The look was clean and simple, with a few risks taken here and there, said Zyla, who has collaborated with the likes of Hillary Clinton, Tom Hanks and Susan Lucci.

“The drape of the fabrics was one of the most exciting trends that came out of it,” said Zyla, pointing out Divabetic’s choice for Best Dressed, Hayden Panettiere‘s gown.

Actress Hayden Panettiere looked like an exotic indian princess as she stepped onto the red carpet at the Primetime Emmy Awards 2012 in a stunning gown design from Marchesa’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection which was inspired by India in the 1960s. The sari-like look featured gold leaf embellishments and dramatic draping.

She accented with jewelry by Harry Winston, Zanotti shoes and a gold circular hard case clutch by Judith Leiber.

Color was the fashion word for the evening and the Marchesa selection was just breathtaking. While some fashion writers thought the Marchesa Spring/Summer 2013 collection had a costume element to it nearly everyone agreed that it was perfect for the red carpet.

Hayden made a smart move wearing her hair up to showcsae all the beautiful details of the gown. Perfection!
