It looks like Julianne Moore‘s been getting her fashion fix from Mr. Divabetic‘s fruit suit in videos featured on his YouTube channel judging from what she wore to the Emmy Awards.
Julianne Moore wore a vivid yellow, long-sleeve, knitted cashmere top and silk ball skirt from Raf Simons‘ first couture collection for Christian Dior, shown in Paris in July which just happens to be the same shade of Mr. Divabetic‘s signature shirt: zesty lemon yellow!!
An insidery fashion choice to be sure, and a modern take on dressing up with a fresh twist.
Yellow fruits and vegetables like corn, bananas, squash and lemons contain beta-carotene, zeaxanthin, flavonoids, lycopene, potassium, and vitamin C. These nutrients reduce age-related macula degeneration and the risk of prostate cancer, lower LDL cholesterol and blood pressure, promote collagen formation and healthy joints, fight harmful free radicals, encourage alkaline balance, and work with magnesium and calcium to build healthy bones.
Mr. Divabetic’s fruit suit brought her some luck too because Julianne Moore took home the Emmy for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Movie Emmy for “Game Change.”
Moore portrayed Sarah Palin in the HBO movie and beat out Connie Britton (“American Horror Story”), Nicole Kidman (“Hemingway & Gellhorn”), Ashley Judd “Missing”) and Emma Thompson (“The Song of Lunch).
“I feel so validated because Sarah Palin gave me a big thumbs down,” she said when accepting her Emmy.
