DIVA ALERT: Divabetic’s October Diva Inspiration, Nicki Minaj’s month is off to a rough and tumble start with gossip swirling about her alleged death threats to Mariah Carey. Mariah’s stilettos are filled with enough sand from the ‘Jersey Shore’ for us to believe that she’s loving the Jerry Springer type atmosphere these two dueling divas are creating on the set of American Idol.

Using Barbara Walters (why didn’t she call Wendy Williams?) as her mouthpiece, Mariah Carey claimed Nicki Minaj threatened to shoot her on the set of “American Idol.”
Carey allegedly took it seriously enough to hire extra security.
Walters said on “The View” she’d just gotten off the phone with Carey, who opened up about the dueling divas’ Tuesday feud.
“She said that when Nicki walked off the set, multiple people heard Nicki say, ‘If I had a gun I would shoot the bitch,’” Walters relayed.
Several “Idol” staffers, including hairdresses and producers, were there to hear it, Carey told Walters.
“[Carey] said she’s very concerned, she is with her twins, she doesn’t feel that anything would happen,” Walters continued, “but Nicki is unpredicatable and Mariah says she can’t take a chance and she has hired extra security.”
Carey added that Minaj has not apologized, Walters said.
But Minaj did tell Carey, “I love you, but we might fight again,” Walters said.
Minaj fired back on Twitter Thursday, blogging: “I don’t call tmz n Barbara Walters cuz I stand on my own two feet. Never needed an army. God is good. Insecurity is as cruel as the grave.”
She also Tweeted, “I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we’ve had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn.”
Minaj also believes “American Idol” producers goaded Mariah Carey into starting a smackdown on the talent show’s set, TMZ reported.
Sources connected with Minaj told the site producers and members of Carey’s team are conspiring against her because they think a disgruntled Minaj will bring in viewers.
