Meli'sa Morgan
In this sneak peek episode of Diva TalkRadio Studio d, hear what inspires Meli’sa Morgan, an American vocalist and songwriter, who has worked with a number of major recording artists, including Whitney Houston and Chaka Kahn, to live healthy and well. This New York native began singing as a child in church and dreamed of a performing career. Morgan began paying her dues as a backup singer, both on stage and in the recording studio, working with a number of major artists. Her debut single, a cover of Prince’s Do Me Baby, shot to the top of the R&B charts and the album of the same name hit the top five. Her follow-up hits include Do Me Baby, Do You Still Love Me, the classic funk/dance song Fool’s Paradise, and Love Changes. In 2005, Morgan released I Remember, which won a SoulTracks Readers Choice Award for Female Vocalist of the Year.
