Jessica Simpson Takes A Walk On The Wild Side

March 4, 2013

PicMonkey-Collage44Jessica Simpson and her growing baby bump made an purr-fect appearance on the L.A. set of a commercial shoot dressed to impress in a skintight leopard-print dress, which is her own design on sale at Dillard’s.

Jessica Simpson’s maternity collection is now in over 800 maternity stores (Destination Maternity, Motherhood Maternity, and Macy’s) with a new flirty, flowy Spring style. She has dresses, pants, shirts — all perfect for mixing, matching, and layering (at all stages of your pregnancy).

The Fashion Star mentor, 32, looked fierce and fabulous in sky-high black pumps and a black cardigan barely covering her pregnancy curves.

On hand to offer Simpson some moral support was fiance Eric Johnson and their 10-month-old daughter Maxwell, who made a little fashion statement of her own with a tiny pink bow in her hair.

This isn’t the first time Simpson has taken a walk on the wild side, however. The second-time mom-to-be also donned a leopard-print dress when she was pregnant with little Maxwell back in December 2011.

Jessica Simpson Shows Off 50 Pound Weight Loss

December 21, 2012

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson‘s new Weight Watchers ads are slated to begin airing Dec. 25. She’s reportedly lost about 50 pounds since daughter Maxwell Drew was born in May. Some of the weight loss was apparent when she and sister Ashlee toured last month, promoting the Jessica Simpson Collection at department stores including Macy’s and Dillard’s

hortly after becoming a mom, Simpson, 32, admitted that she felt self-conscious about her post-baby body – but said she was ready to get back into shape.

“I think anybody who’s gone through a pregnancy, after they have the baby, it’s like, ‘I need to do something about this!’ ” she told PEOPLE in May. “For me, I really want to do something that is a lifestyle, because in the past I’ve been known to yo-yo diet.”

So, when Weight Watchers asked her to be their new spokesperson, the fashion mogul eagerly said yes, and signed her friends up for the program, too.

“Weight Watchers changed my relationship with food, and I feel so much more prepared to make the right choices,” she says. “It feels pretty incredible.”

Megan Fox Says ‘No Dairy’ Diet Helps Her Look AMAZING!

December 18, 2012
wow

wow

Having bounced back into her stunning pre-pregnancy shape after only giving birth in September, Megan Fox is revealing her secret – say no to dairy.

The 26-year-old beauty says she has not been working out since having her son Noah but yet she has been able to get her body back.

Speaking at the premiere of her new film This Is 40, the actress seemed shocked herself that she had got back into shape so soon after giving birth.

‘I didn’t do that much [working out] because after you have a baby, it’s very difficult to work out and I wouldn’t recommend it,’ the actress told Hollyscoop.

‘I should have pre-endorsed some sort of workout something, so that I could be selling it now!’

Without working out, the actress did have to make sacrifices in her diet.

‘I’m not eating dairy, that’s my biggest secret,’ Megan said. ‘It’s really hard on your hormones and it’s not good.’

The transformers actress said it was simple, issuing a ultimatum to others trying to loose their baby weight.

‘If you want to gain weight, eat dairy. If you don’t, don’t eat it.’

Megan did not have a lot of weight to loose however.

The star only gained 23 pounds while expecting her first child to husband Brain Austin Green.

‘I only gained 23 pounds when I was pregnant and I’m still 10 pounds heavier, but I don’t want to kill myself trying to get back into shape because it’s not a priority right now,’ she told the Daily Mirror.

While she has not worked out much following the birth of Noah, Megan did put in the hard work while she was pregnant.

‘We worked out throughout her entire pregnancy,’ personal trainer Harley Pasternak said.

‘She was a model of health through the whole process.

‘She really educated herself big time and had a great relationship with her physician so she really understood the safe boundaries of how to exercise and eat well during pregnancy. As a result, she knew how active she could be and she was very consistent and didn’t overdo it.

‘As she progressed from trimester to trimester, we’d modify things.’

What’s Jessica Simpson’s Favorite ‘Cheat Day’ Food?

December 13, 2012

Jessica's Cheat Day MenuJessica Simpson knows how to make the most of a cheat day.

The Weight Watchers spokeswoman – expecting baby no. 2 – went all-out at a December 2 birthday lunch for BFF CaCee Cobb, 35.

PHOTOS: Jessica’s first pregnancy

“Jessica ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with onion rings,” a fellow diner at the Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills tells Us Weekly.

As her friends toasted Cobb with cocktails, the mom to Maxwell, 7 months — who has yet to confirm her pregnancy — waved off her usual white sangria.

“Guess what?” she told her server, with a smile. “I’m drinking ginger ale!”

In anticipation of the baby’s arrival, Simpson, 32, and fiance Eric Johnson, 33, are in nesting mode: A source says they just made an offer on a house in L.A.’s luxe Hidden Hills!

New Mom, Adriana Lima Rocks The Runway at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

December 4, 2012

Victoria's Secret Tonight, Brazilian beauty Adriana Lima opens the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, eight weeks after giving birth to her second child.

How did she manage to jump back into shape and gain the confidence to strut her stuff down the runway in the skimpy lingerie after giving birth so quickly?

“I had to do everything in a healthy way in order to best take care of myself and my body. I never do things on my own — I have a nutritionist and a personal trainer. I don’t want to have any problems. I know people see us on the runway and working out — but I don’t want them to think that we don’t eat. I don’t starve myself. I don’t do that. I love food, but I do watch what I eat,” says Lima.

“As for my diet, I was eating three ounces of protein, three times a day with plenty of steamed green vegetables and drinking lots of water.”

Apparently, this Victoria Secret model can really kick butt too!

“I was boxing — sparring, doing a little bit of rope and lots of abdominal and core work. I sometimes went running in the morning, but that’s pretty much it. You need a lot of determination in order to do it every single day. Every minute of every workout counts and this year, I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it or not.”

“I’ve never felt pressure from either Victoria’s Secret or my agency. No one pressured me to get ready for the show this fast. It’s a decision I made on my own. It was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done because you’re dealing with nature,” says Lima.

“I’m a little bit older than them. But regardless of age, I’m really aware of the fact that you are what you eat.”

Jessica Siimpson’s Ready for Her Daisy Dukes!

November 21, 2012

Jessica Simpson has lost more than 60 pounds since she gave birth to her daughter, Maxwell Drew, in May.

The singer/actress was spotted in Tampa, Florida at an area Dillard’s department to promote her clothing line. Wearing a pink blazer, loose blouse and slim boot-cut jeans, Simpson proudly posed for cameras.

Not long after giving birth, Simpson signed up for Weight Watchers, and has been candid about her struggle with shedding the baby weight. At the time, she said she wasn’t focused on a goal weight but rather losing inches, creating a healthy diet plan, and maintaining a realistic perspective.

“I’m not a supermodel. My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel. I’m just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiancé and herself,” Simpson told USA Today in September, not long beforeshe gave an update on “Katie.”

“My weight has always been something that people like to comment on. I’ve gotten used to it. It’ll start to get boring at some point, I hope,” she continued. “Nobody wants to talk about their weight. For me, I have had to come to a place where I am comfortable with myself. I’m a mom now, and get to be a role model for this beautiful little girl.”

Alessandra Ambrosio Models Victoria’ Secret $2.5 Million Bra

October 19, 2012

Divabetic FallSupermodel Alessandra Ambrósio was sitting home breastfeeding her 3-week-old son Noah when the phone rang and she got the surprise of her life.

“I just wanted to scream,” admits the mother of two, recalling the moment she was asked to model the coveted ‘Fantasy Bra’ in the upcoming Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. “But I won’t lie, I was really worried,” she admits.”I was in total mother mode.”

As soon as her doctor gave her the green light to work out, Ambrósio, 31, also mother to daughter Anja, 4, got to work shedding the baby weight. Starting with yoga and walking, the model turned up her routine after 60 days and added daily sessions of pilates and spin for cardio.

And while in L.A. for the summer, the brunette beauty also took advantage of the great outdoors. “I was playing a lot of volleyball on the beach, swimming and running after my kids. And breastfeeding always helps,” she says with a laugh.

But keeping healthy during her pregnancy was key; she stuck to fresh green juices, kale salads and fish, a diet she’s continued with the occasional splurge of pizza or ice cream. “My daughter loves cupcakes so we’ll share … but only sometimes!”

There’s less than one month to go until she hits the VS runway donning the $2.5 million Floral Fantasy gift set, which includes a Very Sexy push-up bra handset with amethysts, sapphires, rubies and diamonds (plus a removable 20-carat white diamond in the center), and the matching belt, adorned with more than 5,200 precious gems.

“It was perfect for me,” Ambrósio says of the set, designed by Long Island’s London Jewelers (who did last year’s bra, modeled by Miranda Kerr). “I felt they made it for me. It’s very romantic.”

And now that she feels so ready for the big day, nerves aren’t even an issue. “I’m pretty calm,” she says. “I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time.” Don’t miss Ambrósio on the runway at the 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, airing Dec. 4 on CBS. By Jennifer Garcia

Why More Moms Are Drinking Wine to De-Stress

October 19, 2012

Divabetic FallIs being a mom so tough that you need a glass of wine at the end of the day, just to feel sane again? More and more Moms say yes!

“Mama, needs her juice!”

It’s evidenced in Facebook groups like “Moms Who Need Wine” – with over 640-thousand subscribers. And “I So Need A Glass Of Wine Or I’m Gonna Sell Kids,” which has 127-thousand! There’s a best-selling book called “Naptime Is The New Happy Hour” and two rival wines called “Mommy Juice” and “Mommy’s Time Out.”

So, what’s going on with Moms and wine? Well, wine is to women what beer is to men. Women buy over 60% of wine sold, which is about the same percentage of beer bought by men. Also, some women view parenting as a gritty daily struggle – and they deserve a glass of Pinot for their hard work. So, wine makers have latched on to that mindset and they’re running with it! Take one of the biggest American wineries – Chateau Saint Michelle – their slogan is, “It’s where you become you again.” The idea is that “wine is the new bubble bath or valium.”

Now, of course, not all moms who enjoy a stress-relieving glass of pinot have a problem. But there are plenty that do. There is so much pressure on women today – to be the perfect mom, worker and wife – that some are abusing alcohol to cope. A survey done by “Working Mother” magazine found that 40% say they drink to cope with stress and the number of women between the ages of 30 and 44 who abuse alcohol has doubled. So, while this wine advertising is hitting its target – it may be enabling a bigger problem. By Betty Chase

Pink Blows Her ’55 Pound Weight Gain’ One Last Kiss Goobye!

October 18, 2012

Divabetic FallSince giving birth to her fist child, Willow Sage, back in June 2011, Pink has been working hard to get her usually taut-and-toned figure back. Well it looks like all the gym time has payed off, the new mom flaunted her six-pack on the cover of SHAPE magazine’s newest issue.

I guess, we can easily say, Pink blew her 55 pound weight gain one last kiss goodbye, by looking at the SELF magazine cover.

Although the 33-year old songstress refused to “rush” into dropping the baby weight, she admits she had some work to do after packing on 55 pounds during her pregnancy. “I ate a lot of cheesecake during those nine months,” Pink tells the fitness magazine of her pregnancy cravings. “Also anything sour, Sour Skittles, Sour Patch Kids, key lime pie.”

When it came time to shed the extra pounds, Pink recruited celebrity trainers Jillian Michaels and Jeanette Jenkins. “They both kicked my butt more than any other person I’ve worked out with,” she said. “They’re both amazing, and their bodies were all the inspiration I needed to get back into shape.” She committed to work outs six days per week, consisting of cardio, strength training, power yoga and kickboxing. Yowza!

In addition to her rigorous sweat sessions, the former gymnast maintains a primarily vegan diet, with the occasional fish or chicken.

Jessica Simpson Shows Off New Figure

September 23, 2012

Divabetic SummerJessica Simpson recently revealed she was 10lbs away from her pre-baby weight. The singer and actress went out in West Hollywood with her fiancé Eric Johnson and looked great in a glitzy get-up.

The 32-year-old wore a bead-embellished beige, white and brown frock which hung loosely over her arms and stomach.

But she made sure to leave her tanned legs on show which she dressed up in nude high heels.

She looked positively glowing with perfectly applied make-up, a half-up-half-down hairdo and stand-out hoop earrings.

The pair was not alone though as they left Fig & Olive restaurant, and travelled back with another couple plus her best friend KaCee Cobb in their car.

Jessica told talkshow host, Katie Couric earlier this month that she has had to make a special effort to shift the extra pounds following her labour on May 1

‘All the weight did not come out with the baby,’ she said.

‘I had to stay focused on my diet. I want to be as healthy as I can because I’m a mom now.’

She’s been following Weight Watchers after signing a deal rumoured to be worth $4m and has also been working out with a personal trainer.
