Diva Front Row at Calvin Klein – Spring 2013

Calvin Klein’s Francisco Costa showed a Spring 2013 collection that didn’t disappoint with exquisite veiled dresses consisting of two layers, the most impressive of which had a strapless white under layer with netting on top.

We think this look is diva-licious!!!

Costa created a printed illusion by putting an abstract black lace dress over a white satin bustier and mesh skirt.

Costa’s Hollywood fashion fans, Amy Adams, Emma Stone and Diane Kruger, seemed to be greatly admiring his work — and taking notes — from the front row.

We have a feeling some of these designs will show up on these actresses during awards season. There are no great Oscar gowns here but there are lots of suits and dresses perfect for the Nominees Luncheon, Guild screenings and never-ending studio cocktail parties.  Here’s hoping we catch one or two A-List actresses on the red tomato carpet in Calvin Klein.

Hair Vajazzles: What Is It?

“Hair vajazzles” are both a) a new way to sparkle yoru hair  b) a new product launched by Amy Childs, a 21-year-old British model and television personality who owns her own beauty salon in Essex and thinks your mane could use a gemstone or two.

Childs, who starred on two seasons of “The Only Way Is Essex” (which is sort of like the UK’s “Jersey Shore”), is famous for vajazzling Sam Faiers, one of her co-stars, on the show. Now, she’s brought her entrepreneurial spirit to the table.

 Hair Vajazzlea are attached by applying just a couple of seconds of heat, these gorgeous hair accessories will last up to 7 days making sure that you are looking ‘glam’ – perfect for the upcoming summer proms and parties.” So, we suspect it’s an updated version of those hair gems we used to stick in our locks in the ’90s.

Clad in a glittery catsuit with very well-placed boob vajazzles and a thong  launched her very sparkly new product line and showed off the rhinestone appliques in her blonde wig.

 

Charlotte Free’s The New Face for Forever 21

The jeans, tees and jewelry aren’t free at Forever 21, but the brand’s new face is  –  Charlotte Free. 

A relative newcomer to the modeling world, Free has gotten noticed for her hair and ridden to quick success. She’s walked for Vivienne Westwood  and starred in campaigns for Pamela Love and Ermanno Scervino.

Charlotte’s got a fresh-faced image and pink hair that nicely matches the fast-fashion retailer’s unstuffy feel. Plus, at just 18 years old, Free could easily be a customer herself.
