Let’s have some fun and play “Lend, Buy or Burn!” Fashion Gamewith the worst Red Carpet looks at the Met Gala. The party’s theme: ‘Punk: Chaos to Couture’ inspired a bevy of style stars, from models to designers to Hollywood’s A-list to dress up in plenty of studding, black leather and perhaps a few mohawks. What were they thinking?
The ageless Material Girl, Madonna was spotted in a brunette bob on the Red Carpet wearing just a grey studded tartan jacket, she eschewed a skirt or trousers for a fishnet body stocking, hold-up stockings and pink suede stilettos by Casadei. Emma Watson wore a black silk crepe back satin hand-draped gown from Prabal Gurung‘s Fall-Winter 2013 collectio
To play the game, Lend, Buy or Burn! you must decide:
Which dress you would LEND to a friend
Which dress you would BUY for yourself
Which dress you would BURN with a match?!
Whether you look your best, or you look like a mess on the Red Carpet – we think you’re a still a ‘winner’ for going after your dreams.
Let’s play “Lend, Buy or Burn!” Fashion Gamewith last night’s red hot Red Carpet looks at the Met Gala. The party’s theme: ‘Punk: Chaos to Couture’ inspired a bevy of style stars, from models to designers to Hollywood’s A-list to dress up in plenty of studding, black leather and perhaps a few mohawks.
Beyoncé, who served as the event’s honorary chair, arrived wearing a gown by Givenchy, the designer of the evening. But not just any Tisci gown would do. The strapless show-stopper featured elbow-length gloves, a lengthy orange train, grommet belt and matching thigh-high boots. “It’s all about the boots,” Beyoncé said.
Beyoncé confessed she was wearing a super-tight corset — so tight, in fact, that “I’m going to need scissors to cut the string.”
The night’s three wildest looks include Nina Dobrev in Monique Lhuillier, Beyonce in Givenchy and Katy Perry in Dolce & Gabbana for this Lend, Buy or Burn! Fashion Game. To play, you must decide:
Which dress you would LEND to a friend
Which dress you would BUY for yourself
Which dress you would BURN with a match?!

Oscar winning actress, Anne Hathaway stole the show when she bleached her blonde and arrived with Valentino wearing a sexy black gown from the designer’s 1992 archives for the Met Gala last night.
Her playful pixie cut looked piecey and edgy giving off a fierce vibe that corresponded perfectly with the PUNK theme, but we still can’t get over the shocking change in hair color.
Her dramatically lightened locks added exceptional interest to her gorgeous features, with major emphasis given to her smoky eye makeup.
“I don’t know if you can tell by looking at me but Debbie Harry was kind of an inspiration,” Hathaway said on the red carpet.
The 2013 Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art – better known as the Met Gala — is took place in New York last night. The theme of this year’s ball is “PUNK: Chaos To Couture.”
Beyonce was an honorary chair of the event for the annuel fête, which formally kicks off the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s yearly Costume Institute exhibit, always brings in a bevy of style stars, from models to designers to Hollywood’s A-list.
On the Red Carpe we spotted plenty of studding, black leather and perhaps a few mohawks.
The best way to look from every angle on the Red Carpet is make sure you’re eating right. This is why the first question burning on Mr. Divabetic’s lips on the Red Tomato Carpet to ask a celebrity like Cameron Diaz is “what are you eating?”
With plenty of cash to hire personal trainers and private chefs, one of Hollywood’s hottest actresses might seem to have all the tools in place for perfect health but how does she avoid temptation?
Teddy Bass, Cameron’s trainer says: “Her diet is an upside down one where you have your carbs at the beginning of the day then taper off, so in the evening you just eat protein and vegetables.
“Cameron will eat junk food if she feels like it but if she fancies a burger, she’ll just have a few bites.”
Teddy Bass designed a diet plan for Cameron that requires her to eat 6 times a day. Cameron follows ‘no white’ diet plan. It means that white sugar, white rice, white flour, potatoes, and things made from white flour like bread, cakes, pasta, noodles, etc. is avoided by her. In addition to the occasional protein shake, low-fat cappuccino, Cameron regularly drinks plenty of water.
“I used to eat fried food from morning to night when I was in my 20s. But I have really had to make some changes. I love fried chicken and french fries. I can’t do that anymore,” says Cameron Diaz.
Cameron meets with Teddy several times a week in order to maintain her “lean and strong” shape.
He explained: “Cameron has good genes but she makes working out a priority, so we train as often as we can. Depending on her schedule, we’ll do 45 minutes of Pilates or if she has 90 minutes we’ll do half weights and half Pilates and flexibility work.
“Cameron loves having a lean, strong body rather than a curvy figure.”
Some of MTV’s freshest faces along some serious A-lister’s arrived at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards ready for a party. Host Rebel Wilson made sure to keep the crowd laughing with hilarious movie spoofs and a few shocking musical numbers.
The 32-year-old stepped onto the red carpet in a black LBD, complete with voluminous sleeves and a gold tassel necklace. It was a classic post-Kanye Kim look: black, tight and just a little high fashion. But tonight’s ensemble is different. Kim looks confident, sexy and fresh!

In a year that is being described as one of the worst years for Oscars fashion, pastel shades, natural makeup and minimal jewelry triumphed.
Move over, Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek and Fan Bingbing because Mr. Divabetic’s Worst Dressed Award at the 2013 Oscars goes to the loveable Melissa McCarthy. Her custom David Meister Signature gown and its overabundance of army barracks gray-colored silk jersey was awful. The unflattering jersey material, draped in all the wrong places and awkward jeweled embellishments aren’t working in her favor. And her Dynasty overly-teased hair (does she have an endorsement with Aqua Net?) isn’t helping matters.
Helena Bonham Carterlooks as if she just escaped from an attic and is playing dress-up with Miss Havisham’s discards. She keeps that bad fashion mojo going with this Vivienne Westwood frock.
Nicole Kidman looks like she’s filming a one-woman sequel to Moulin Rouge in her Balenciaga gown. Lately, she’s had a multitude of misses on the red carpet.

“It must have been cold there in my shadow” is what it looks like Anne Hathaway could have been singing on Oscar night. The wind was definitely beneath her wings that night judging from her nipples. Now she’s issued a formal apology about her 2013 Oscar dress. No, not for the distractingly perky nipple-area around the bust of her Prada gown. Anne is apologizing for not wearing Valentino.
It came to my attention late Saturday night that there would be a dress worn to the Oscars that is remarkably similar to the Valentino I had intended to wear, and so I decided it was best for all involved to change my plans.Though I love the dress I did wear, it was a difficult last minute decision as I had so looked forward to wearing Valentino in honor of the deep and meaningful relationship I have enjoyed with the house and with Valentino himself. I deeply regret any disappointment caused.
The statement comes on the heels of much fashion industry chattering over Anne’s choice of designer. As the Oscars red carpet kicked off on Sunday evening, tweets implied she’d be wearing Valentino, an expected choice seeing as she and Valentino are close personal friends.
Head to People.com to read more about the whole Prada/Valentino shenanigans. Think the last-minute dress switch warranted a formal statement from Anne?

New York Fashion Week is in full swing and we’ve been running around like crazy trying to take in all the designer collections. So far we’ve been thoroughly impressed.
One show that caught our eye was Hervé Léger by Max Azria. Each season, Max and Lubov Azria continue to rework what is by now a classic, the Hervé Léger bandage dress. Fall’s incarnation was inspired by the surrealist sculptors Les Lalanne, whose influence could be seen in the sensual curvature of appliqués and embroideries on the body-con dresses. A few new fabric techniques added texture and depth to the familiar stretch material. One resembled glistening stingray, another rendered a crocodile effect.
What do you think of these fashions? Play “LEND, BUY or BURN!” Fashion Game. Looking at these 3 dresses from Hervé Léger’s 2013 Fall Collection. To play, you must decide: 1. “Baby, you’re a Firework .. Come on, let your colors burst,” sings Katy Perry but it seems like Carrie Underwood‘s carrying the tune judging from her dress at the Grammys.
When she hit the stage for her big performance, however, her dress was anything but. The “American Idol” alum walked on stage in a giant silver ball gown by THEIA that resembled an oversized prom dress. Within minutes, the iceberg of a garment lit up: The four and a half foot-wide skirt was acting as a projector screen, with flickering colors and designs projected onto it from beyond the stage.
As one Twitter commenter noted, there was a giant Power Point presentation taking place on Carrie’s dress. The whole thing was just asking to be made into a GIF.
See photos of the light show below. Do you think the light-up concept was cool or silly?
