Lady Gaga’s Beef with Kelly Osbourne Brings Out The Monster

Lady Gaga’s Beef with Kelly Osbourne

Lady Gaga’s beef with Kelly Osbourne makes her look like a Monster. Her  recent open letter to Kelly Osbourne, host of E!’s Fashion Police program proves that a healthy sense of humor is a diva’s best accessory during Awards season.

I love Lady Gaga‘s sense of style. I look forward to seeing what she’s going to wear on the Red Carpet as much as the next  ‘little monsters.’ Her looks are fun and often times even funny. But its hard to believe that after seeing images of herself around the world that she can’t handle criticism. Instead, Lady Gaga says she’s being ‘bullied’ by Kelly Osbourne.

I work in an all girls school in New York City. The girls who are being bullied are trying to fit in with the rest of the kids, they’re not showing up in meat dresses or popping out of eggs. Many of these girls are bullied because they have higher than average BMI’s just like Kelly Osbourne  who once was by Christina Aguilera for her weight.

Lady Gaga wrote the letter  in response to an interview Kelly Osbourne gave to Fabulous magazine in which she says, “Lady Gaga’s fans are the worst. They’ve said I should kill myself, that they hope I get raped, I mean it’s crazy but I’ve had all this in my life and I just try to ignore it.” Gaga hit back at Osbourne’s criticism of her fans as well as her show, writing, “It used to make me truly sad when I would hear people talk about your weight when you were younger, as I was bullied too. To see you blossoming in to a beautiful slender woman who makes fun of others for a living is astounding.” [Little Monsters]

Poor Lady Gaga – you’re no match for Kelly’s mama.

Sharon Osbourne took to her Facebook page to write an open letter to Lady Gaga after the pop singer slammed the 60-year-old’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, in a post on her blog following a recent magazine interview Kelly did in which she called Gaga’s fans “the worst.”

Sharon labeled Gaga “nothing more than a publicly seeking hypocrite and an attention seeker” who could use her publicity to incite real change. “I am calling you a bully because you have 32 million followers hanging on your every word and you are criticizing Kelly in your open letter,” she writes. “Are you so desperate that you needed to make this public?” Continuing, “A word from you would stop all the hideous, negative and vile threats from your ‘little monsters.'”

Despite the fact that her mother got riled up, Kelly said she is brushing it all off.

The Osbourne-Gaga feud goes back years. In 2009, Kelly called Gaga a “Butterface”and at last year’s Grammy Awards she deemed Gaga “disrespectful” for not walking the red carpet. In September, Kelly commented on Gaga’s weight gain saying, “I think she is pregnant.”

Nicki Minaj And Mariah Carey’s Catfight

October 4, 2012

Divabetic FallDIVA ALERT: Divabetic’s October Diva Inspiration, Nicki Minaj’s month is off to a rough and tumble start with gossip swirling about her alleged death threats to Mariah Carey. Mariah’s stilettos are filled with enough sand from the ‘Jersey Shore’ for us to believe that she’s loving the  Jerry Springer type atmosphere these two dueling divas are creating on the set of American Idol.

Is Nicki really ready to go, ” Boom, badoom, boomBoom, badoom, boom bass” to Mariah?

Using Barbara Walters  (why didn’t she call Wendy Williams?) as her mouthpiece, Mariah Carey claimed Nicki Minaj threatened to shoot her on the set of “American Idol.”

Carey allegedly took it seriously enough to hire extra security.

Walters said on “The View” she’d just gotten off the phone with Carey, who opened up about the dueling divas’ Tuesday feud.

“She said that when Nicki walked off the set, multiple people heard Nicki say, ‘If I had a gun I would shoot the bitch,’” Walters relayed.

Several “Idol” staffers, including hairdresses and producers, were there to hear it, Carey told Walters.

“[Carey] said she’s very concerned, she is with her twins, she doesn’t feel that anything would happen,” Walters continued, “but Nicki is unpredicatable and Mariah says she can’t take a chance and she has hired extra security.”

Carey added that Minaj has not apologized, Walters said.

But Minaj did tell Carey, “I love you, but we might fight again,” Walters said.

Minaj fired back on Twitter Thursday, blogging: “I don’t call tmz n Barbara Walters cuz I stand on my own two feet. Never needed an army. God is good. Insecurity is as cruel as the grave.”

She also Tweeted, “I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we’ve had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn.”

Minaj also believes “American Idol” producers goaded Mariah Carey into starting a smackdown on the talent show’s set, TMZ reported.

Sources connected with Minaj told the site producers and members of Carey’s team are conspiring against her because they think a disgruntled Minaj will bring in viewers.

Seriously, why can’t we all just get along?

Chris Brown’s R & B Brawl with Drake

June 15, 2012

Chris BrownWhat sparked the recent bottle-flying brawl between Chris Brown and Drake at New York nightclub W.i.P.

According to TMZ, Brown has given a statement to NYPD investigators about the scuffle that left him with a gash on his chin and seriously injured one of his bodyguards, Big Pat. Unnamed law enforcement sources told the site that Brown’s celebrity lawyer, Mark Geragos, has handed over unspecified “physical evidence” that allegedly implicates Drake in the fight.

One of the rappers hanging with Drake that night, Meek Mill, has denied reports that he set the fight off by tossing a bottle at Brown’s group. Drake has also said he had nothing to do with the melee, issuing a statement on Thursday that read, “Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began. [Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.”

TMZ added that Geragos presented evidence to the NYPD on Thursday that allegedly showed that Drake and Meek were the aggressors, just hours after Breezy spoke to cops. Police say neither Brown nor Drake are currently suspects in the case and the Brown is being treated as a “witness and a victim.” And while Drake has reportedly been “cooperating” with investigators and his representatives have had conversations with police, it was unclear at press time if the rapper had been involved in any direct talks with detectives.

Citing unnamed sources, TMZ claimed that the instigator may have been someone in Brown’s camp who was “inciting Drake and his people all night.”

Freddie Jackson Says Luther Vandross Is Still Winning

April 29, 2012

Recently Freddie Jackson shared his memories of Luther Vandross and their friendly competition.

“I taught him everything he knew,” Freddie jokes. “We used to have fun with it, and it kept us motivated to be the best. Now I don’t have nobody to play with, I’m all by myself, and I’m kicking everybody’s behind!”

Freddie Jackson went on to reveal that the two would enact staged feuds at parties, to play off their assumed rivalry, but that even in death, Luther is still “winning.”

“I have the utmost respect for Luther Vandross, first of all, because he was the consummate artist, and today it’s still living,” Jackson explains. “I get Luther on my radio more than I get Freddie, and I’m like, you know, ‘he’s still winning!’ When you do what you do good, it’s supposed to never die. The body might, but what you do will live on far beyond you. He will ever live in my soul and in my music, and when I go into the studio I think sometimes, how would Luther have done it? I’m just not the only one, I’m the only one that admits it.”

Oprah Personally Decided To Cancel ‘The Rosie Show’: Ouch!

March 19, 2012

According to The Daily Beast, Oprah visited Rosie O’Donnell in her studio before she made the decision to cancel the show. After visting Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” set, which is modeled after host Andy Cohen’s den, O’Donnell decided to scrap her show’s entire look and replace it with something more intimate. When Oprah visited O’Donnell and the new set, staff members described the meeting as “awkward.” Earlier this month, O’Donnell put her Chicago home on the market and was moving the show back to her home, New York City.

“Rosie” came to a quick end after poor ratings, multiple format changes (we witnessed at least 4),  staff clashes, and more. While low ratings and “Rosie’s” fickle formats were obvious, Oprah’s personal involvement in ending O’Donnell’s run was rather surprising.

Additionally, the Daily Beast reported that O’Donnell’s clashes with her staff were quite severe. A former employee described the work environment as a “hell hole.”

O’Donnell will tape her final show on Tuesday, March 20, which will air on Friday, March 30 at 7:00 p.m. EST.

Leah Remini Says Sharon Osbourne Had Her Fired For Being ‘Ghetto’

March 18, 2012

Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete have been off  “The Talk” ” since summer 2011, but Remini is finally opening up about her firing. The actress took to Twitter to discuss her dismissal from the CBS talk show.

Why was she let go from the talk show? Because of Sharon Osbourne, Remini told her followers.

Remini, Peete, Osbourne, Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert and Marissa Jaret Winokur were the original hosts of “The Talk” when it premiered on CBS in 2010. Winokur left the series midway through Season 1, but Peete and Remini finished out the season. After a summer of contract rumors Peete and Remine were dropped from the series. Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler joined the cast in Season 2.

Remini told her followers that Osbourne had her and Peete removed from the series because they were “ghetto.”

When pressed for details, Remini told her followers that Osbourne made those statements during an interview with Howard Stern.

“Some people dont really know who they are,” Sharon Osbourne told Stern, “and you have to know who you are when you’re in something like this.”

Osbourne  shot down Remini’s claims. “Leah knows that I have never been in the position to hire or fire anyone on the show,” she tweeted.

“That being said, my only wish is that Leah would just stop all this negative, unprofessional, and childish behavior,” Osbourne said.

Joyce DeWitt & Suzanne Somers Meet Again!

February 3, 2012

Suzanne Somers and Joyce Dewitt have finally buried their 30-year feud, coming together for a long-awaited “Three’s Company” reunion on Somers’ web series, “Breaking Through.” The two actresses had not spoken since Somers left the iconic sitcom in 1981 over a salary dispute, leading to what was an awkward and emotional scene on stage. Somers asked Dewitt if her parents were still alive (they are) and was surprised to hear that her young brother had died, asking how he passed (a heart problem at age 48).

The conversation then turned to their late co-star John Ritter; Somers remembered being contacted in 2003 by Ritter, who asked both her and Dewitt to make cameo together in a dream sequence of his show “Eight Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter.” Both actresses declined, and Ritter died of an aortic dissection a short time later.

The reunited co-stars also reminisced about working with Ritter on their show; Somers called him “the greatest physical comic of our era” and remembered marveling at his ability. “His legs were, like, made of rubber,” she said. “He had a way of moving you around that, for me, made me more of a physical comic than I really was.”
